Hi again Carol, Was transported by the slippery winter road to many a lovely winter that I miss down here on the sand bar. Thanks for bringing me back. This Snow Cardinal is bright red, centered and staring right at us and yet your masterful composition and arching snow frosted twigs and branches deny the bull's eye central positioning from being static. Such subtle poetry of line.

Beautiful prose George and thank you for stopping to comment, it is much appreciated!

. I love the Red Cardinals . we have them here on Maui as well . the sound of their soft unique call is so sweet and very distinctive . . this is lovely :))
Carol Wisniewski replied:
It must be beautiful there, would love to visit someday. Thank you so much for the lovely comment. Carol
Carol Wisniewski replied:
You're very welcome Sharon, I can't think of a possibly lovelier place than in the Hawaiian Islands. Jersey is pretty, known as the garden state, but we have some pretty drastic temperate weather. I am surprised you have the Red Cardinal in Maui. We have a male and female that come back each year. They are amazing. Thanks again, Carol
